Naim NPX300

Description

The NPX 300 power supply is designed to improve the performance of the 200 Series sources and preamplifiers, including the NSC 222 streaming preamplifier. It deactivates the internal power supply to reduce noise and provide a cleaner power supply. Multiple NPX 300 power supplies can be connected within the same configuration to enhance the musical experience. The NPX 300 powers the system quietly and efficiently, allowing the preamplifier to focus on its main task of controlling the signal. It can also be used to upgrade several Naim products, offering flexibility over time. It is possible to add two NPX 300 power supplies to a single preamplifier or source, with one dedicated to powering the digital sections and the other to powering the analogue sections. The NPX 300 features a new transformer and six exclusive Naim power regulators (DR technology – Discrete Regulator) to provide a cleaner power to the system. It is compatible with the 200 Series products, as well as the NDX2 and NAC-N 272 with the appropriate cables. It includes several innovations found on the Naim 555PS DR power supply, such as the separation of digital and analogue power supplies through dedicated Burndy cables.
