Description
The Linn Kendo is a high-performance moving-coil cartridge developed to reveal more music, detail and emotion from every record. Drawing on technology from Linn’s flagship Ekstatik cartridge, it delivers an exceptionally balanced and involving performance at the heart of a premium vinyl system.
Kendo features a Super Fine Line diamond stylus mounted to a lightweight and highly rigid boron cantilever. This combination follows the record groove with outstanding accuracy, retrieving subtle musical information while maintaining excellent control during complex and dynamic passages.
Its cartridge body is machined from 7075-grade aluminium and finished with a protective nickel coating. The rigid construction helps direct unwanted vibration away from the sensitive generator, allowing the cartridge to produce a cleaner and more focused signal.
Aluminium-bronze threaded mounting inserts provide a secure connection to the tonearm. Kendo has been designed as the ideal partner for Linn’s Arko tonearm, with carefully matched materials helping the two components work together as one mechanical system.
With its natural tonal balance, precise timing and powerful musical presentation, Kendo provides a substantial upgrade for any suitable LP12 and is fitted as standard to the Linn Selekt LP12.
