he Chord Company SignatureX Tuned ARAY is a reference-quality stereo analogue interconnect designed for use with highly revealing hi-fi systems. Supplied with two RCA connectors at each end, it provides an exceptionally well-protected signal path between compatible source components and amplifiers.
SignatureX uses separately shielded, silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors. Isolating each conductor helps reduce interaction within the cable, while the silver-plated copper provides a high-quality path for delicate analogue signals.
The conductors are arranged using Chord Company’s Tuned ARAY geometry. Developed through extensive listening and engineering work, this carefully controlled configuration is designed to preserve timing, dynamics and fine musical information.
Each conductor is insulated with cross-linked polyethylene, or XLPE. This low-loss material reduces unwanted energy absorption and delayed release within the cable, helping the signal retain its clarity and phase accuracy.
Dual high-density braid shielding protects the conductors from electrical and radio-frequency interference across a wide bandwidth. This is particularly important in modern systems containing network equipment, wireless devices and digital electronics.
The RCA connectors feature ChorAlloy-plated contact areas and low-mass PTFE surrounds. The PTFE construction reduces mechanical noise around the termination while supporting accurate signal transfer.
