Description
The Chord Company ClearwayX ARAY is a high-performance stereo analogue interconnect designed to carry delicate audio signals with clarity, coherence and minimal interference. Supplied as a pair, it has two RCA connectors at each end for connecting compatible hi-fi components.
ClearwayX uses heavy-gauge oxygen-free copper conductors arranged in Chord Company’s proprietary ARAY geometry. Originally developed for the company’s high-end cable ranges, this conductor configuration is designed to preserve timing, dynamics and fine musical detail.
The conductors are insulated with cross-linked polyethylene, or XLPE. This carefully selected material reduces unwanted energy absorption within the cable, helping the signal remain clean and accurately timed.
A dual-layer, heavy-gauge foil shield surrounds the conductors to protect the low-level analogue signal from external electrical and radio-frequency interference. This makes ClearwayX particularly useful in systems containing multiple digital, wireless and mains-powered components.
The cable is fitted with Chord VEE3 RCA connectors featuring ChorAlloy plating. This multi-metal plating system is designed to combine high conductivity with long-term durability.
