Description

The AudioQuest X2 is a flexible, high-quality speaker cable suitable for both two-channel hi-fi and multichannel home cinema systems. Sold by PJ Hi-Fi per metre, it can be cut to the required length for anything from a compact stereo system to longer custom installations.

X2 uses high-purity Long-Grain Copper conductors arranged in AudioQuest’s Semi-Solid Concentric construction. The individual strands remain in fixed positions within each conductor rather than continually changing position along the cable.

This controlled arrangement reduces the electrical and magnetic interaction commonly found in conventional stranded cable. Long-Grain Copper also contains fewer impurities and grain boundaries than standard copper, helping to preserve a clean and consistent signal between the amplifier and loudspeakers.

Its substantial 14AWG / 2.08mm² conductor size provides low resistance and makes X2 suitable for longer cable runs. All internal conductors are direction-controlled to help minimise radio-frequency noise.

A durable, flexible PVC jacket makes the cable easy to route around furniture or along the edge of a room. X2 can be connected as bare wire or professionally terminated with suitable banana plugs or spade connectors.
