UPGRADE YOUR SOUND

If you own an older Naim streamer or all-in-one system and have been considering an upgrade, the new Naim Exchange Programme could make now an excellent time to do it.

Running from 5th October until 13th November 2026, the programme allows owners of selected legacy Naim products to receive a generous exchange allowance when upgrading to qualifying products from Naim’s current range.

For long-standing Naim owners, this presents an opportunity to move to the latest streaming platform and New Classic electronics while receiving worthwhile value for equipment that may have been at the heart of their system for many years.

What Can I Exchange?

The programme covers a selection of previous-generation Naim streaming products and systems, including some extremely popular models.

Examples include:

  • Naim NAC-N 272 – suggested exchange allowance £750
  • Naim NDX – suggested exchange allowance £750
  • Naim NDS – suggested exchange allowance £1,500

Other eligible legacy Naim products are also included within the programme, so if your particular model isn’t mentioned above, please get in touch with us and we can check whether it qualifies.

What Can I Upgrade To?

The Naim Exchange Programme covers a broad selection of products from Naim’s current Uniti and New Classic ranges.

That means the programme isn’t simply about replacing an old streamer with a new one. It can provide an opportunity to rethink or develop your Naim system as a whole.

For example, owners of previous-generation streaming preamplifiers such as the NAC-N 272 may want to explore the performance available from Naim’s latest separates, including the NSS 333 streaming source and NAC 332 preamplifier.

Depending on your existing system and where you want to take it, other products such as the NAP 250, NAP 350 and NPX 300 can also form part of a new system or upgrade path.

Alternatively, if you’re looking to simplify your system rather than expand it, the current Naim Uniti range combines streaming and amplification into beautifully integrated systems with considerably fewer boxes.

There isn’t necessarily one ‘correct’ upgrade. That’s where we can help.

Is It Worth Upgrading an Older Naim Streamer?

Naim’s earlier streaming products earned an excellent reputation and many remain in daily use. However, network audio has changed enormously since products such as the original NDX and NDS were introduced.

Naim’s current streaming platform brings improvements to streaming functionality, compatibility and everyday usability, alongside the performance improvements available from the latest generation of Naim electronics.

For somebody who has built a system around an older Naim source, the Exchange Programme therefore provides a useful opportunity to look at the system as a whole rather than simply replacing one component.

You may find that the best option is a straightforward source upgrade. In other systems, changing the streaming source, preamplifier or power amplifier together may provide a much more significant improvement.

We’ll Help You Find the Right Upgrade

At PJ HiFi, we’ve worked with Naim equipment and Naim systems for many years.

Rather than simply recommending the newest box, we’d much rather understand what you’re currently using, what you enjoy about your system and what you’d like to improve.

Bring us the details of your existing system and we can talk through the available options, establish the exchange allowance applicable to your equipment and help put together an upgrade that makes sense.

Where appropriate, we can also arrange demonstrations so that you can hear the differences for yourself before making a decision.

After all, an upgrade should be worthwhile because you can hear the improvement, not simply because a newer model exists.

Naim Exchange Programme – Limited Time

The Naim Exchange Programme runs from 5th October until 13th November 2026.

If you own an eligible Naim product and have been thinking about upgrading, we’d recommend speaking to us while the programme is running.

Contact PJ HiFi or visit us in Guildford with details of your current Naim system and we’ll work out what your equipment qualifies for and discuss the upgrade options available.
