Rega Replay Green

Rega has spent more than 50 years making turntables that put music first. Its latest model, the new Rega Replay, brings that experience into an exceptionally accessible, easy-to-use package.

Priced at £259, the Replay is designed as an introduction to genuine hi-fi vinyl playback. It is handmade in the UK and arrives with its tonearm and cartridge fitted, aligned and virtually ready to play. Setup takes less than a minute, making it an ideal choice for newcomers who want excellent sound without complicated adjustments.

Proper Hi-Fi Made Simple

Setting up a turntable can seem daunting, particularly if it is your first one. Balancing the tonearm, setting the tracking force and aligning a cartridge can quickly take the fun out of playing a new record.

Rega has removed those complications from the Replay. Simply unpack it, push the supplied balance weight onto the back of the tonearm, connect it to a suitable phono input or phono stage and remove the stylus guard. Select a record, lower the tonearm and you are ready to listen.

There is no adjustable bias, no cartridge alignment and no delicate calibration required.

Developed for Performance

Easy operation does not mean the Replay is short on serious engineering. Rega spent three years refining the design, applying many of the principles found throughout its established turntable range.

Its laminated skeletal plinth combines high rigidity with low mass. This helps prevent unwanted energy from being stored within the structure, allowing the cartridge to retrieve music from the record groove with greater clarity and accuracy.

A new isolation foot assembly improves stability and reduces the transfer of external vibration, while a removable custom dustcover protects the turntable when it is not being used.

Rega Replay RB110

Hand-Assembled RB110 Tonearm

The Replay is fitted with Rega’s RB110 tonearm, which is assembled by hand using bespoke ultra-low-friction bearings.

Its bias is set during production, and the supplied 111g balance weight has been designed for straightforward installation. The ergonomically shaped headshell also makes positioning the arm over a record easy and comfortable.

Rega’s Carbon moving-magnet cartridge is fitted and carefully aligned at the factory. Its replaceable stylus keeps maintenance simple, while its lively and detailed presentation makes it a natural partner for the Replay.

Stable, Accurate Rotation

A high-quality 24V synchronous motor drives the platter through Rega’s advanced EBLT belt and a CNC-machined aluminium pulley. Together, these components provide low-noise operation and consistent speed stability.

The 23mm phenolic resin platter has additional mass to create a flywheel effect as it rotates. This improves stability during playback, helping music sound focused, dynamic and rhythmically convincing.

The Replay supports both 33⅓ and 45rpm records, with speeds selected manually by moving the drive belt.

Who Is the Rega Replay For?

The Replay is an excellent first turntable for anyone beginning a vinyl collection or moving away from an all-in-one record player. Its straightforward setup makes it especially approachable, but its genuine Rega engineering gives it the performance needed to become the foundation of a proper hi-fi system.

It could also be a great choice for an experienced listener who wants a compact, dependable and uncomplicated turntable for a second system.

The Replay does not have a built-in phono stage, so it needs to be connected to an amplifier with a suitable phono input or used with a separate phono pre-amplifier.

A New Entry Point into Rega Vinyl

With its distinctive skeletal design, British manufacture and carefully matched tonearm and cartridge, the Replay offers much more than basic convenience. It provides a thoughtfully engineered route into vinyl, backed by Rega’s lifetime limited warranty.

For £259, the new Rega Replay makes enjoying your record collection wonderfully simple: unbox it, connect it and start listening.
